"Shake That Thing" was my first attempt to paint a full scene in the Bright Style that I had developed earlier with the Bright Series of fish. The original painting was painted using a metalic silver paint on the top row of scales but this process did not translate well into the actual print. Therefore, I always hand paint the same top row of scales with silver paint on each print to enhance the look of the print and to make each one special.
